KIWANIS IS A GLOBAL ORGANIZATION OF VOLUNTEERS DEDICATED TO IMPROVING THE WORLD ONE CHILD AND ONE COMMUNITY AT A TIME

OUR VISION

Our vision is that all children will wake up in communities that believe in them, nurture them and provide the support they need to thrive.

OUR IMPACT

  • Built Kiwanis Park, 

  • Helped start the Tammy Lynn Center,

  • Supported the Boys and Girls Club with their new building,

  • Host the annual Boys and Girls Club Christmas Party

  • Provided shoes for foster children.

  • Provided iodine and tetanus shots to children/mothers in underdeveloped countries.

  • Provide volunteers weekly/monthly to various soup kitchens, and

  • Supported the Salvation Army’s Remedial Reading program

34th Kiwanis Golf Classic

Benefiting the Raleigh Kiwanis Foundation which provides grants to local non-profit organizations supporting children in our community. The foundation is a 501 c(3).

A CENTURY OF HELPING CHILDREN

The world has changed a lot since the Raleigh Kiwanis Club was founded in 1920. One thing that has not changed is our steadfast dedication to helping children.

 

Whether it is providing shows, health screenings, or remedial reading programs,  Raleigh Kiwanis has been diligently making the world a better place for over 100 years.
